Enjoy boutique dairy products at Zany Zeus cafe, then try a round of golf—it’s your choice between regular golf, mini golf, or using the driving range.
Mini golf would definitely be my pick on this one—but those who take golf seriously may prefer the 9 hole, par 3 course option. Either way, it’s pretty ideal that Golf Warehouse offers both, plus a driving range.
This trip would be particularly nice on a warm day for obvious reasons. It’s always more pleasant knocking a ball around in the sun, and good weather always calls for ice cream.
Zany Zeus isn’t a large venue, either—if the sun is shining they’ll be more seating opportunities outside.
Where you’re going
Time to find out a little bit more about your destinations.
149 Randwick Rd, Moera, Lower Hutt
Zany Zeus Ltd produce boutique dairy products for market. Their shop on Randwick road is an extension of the business.
The shop skyrocketed to fame when Scarlett Johansson announced their chocolate cake was the best she’d ever tasted. Needless to say, this is a must-try for dairy lovers and makes for a great weekend treat. I’d recommend the thickshakes, halloumi rolls and ice creams.
Opening hours: 8am–5pm Wednesday to Saturday. 9am–5pm Sunday. Closed Monday & Tuesday.
